Before using LitMarker, I was stuck at a grade 3 in my January mocks and found it hard to revise for English Lit. LitMarker replaced the need to constantly ask teachers for feedback, which made revision more independent and less stressful. I started writing practice essays on a variety of questions and used LitMarker’s feedback to refine them each time. By results day, I had achieved a grade 6 (just 6 marks off a 7) - an improvement of three grades. LitMarker also gave me the confidence to go into the exam knowing I could write grade 7/8/9 level essays.

Having access to feedback on my essays without disturbing teachers meant I actually did more practice. LitMarker showed me which assessment objectives I was slacking on. It was stricter than ChatGPT/Tilf and even my real marking - but that pushed me to keep improving.

Before I found this English Literature marking and feedback site, I was stuck getting around 15/30 on most of my GCSE questions. I was putting in the effort but didn’t really understand where I was going wrong. It was frustrating not knowing how to improve. Using this site changed everything. The marking was really accurate - it showed me exactly how examiners think and what I needed to do to get into the higher bands. The feedback wasn’t vague or general; it was detailed and specific to my answers, showing me where I’d missed key points or how to develop my analysis further. Whether it was Macbeth, An Inspector Calls, or Jekyll and Hyde, the guidance helped me sharpen my arguments, structure my responses properly, and explore the texts in much more depth. I started applying the advice and slowly but surely, my grades climbed. Eventually, I went from 15/30 to consistently hitting top marks. If you’re serious about improving in English Lit, I honestly can’t recommend this site enough. It gave me the tools and confidence to reach my full potential.

Before using LitMarker, I struggled to understand how to move from a grade 6 into the higher top bands. I knew continuous essay practice was the only way I would improve, but I couldn’t hand in that many essays to my teachers, which limited how fast I could progress. When I started using LitMarker, my time management and efficiency improved really quickly. I could get my essays marked the same day, meaning I could improve immediately without stressing or constantly asking teachers what to do next. My favourite part is how accurate the marking is - compared to real examiners, it’s only ever 1-2 marks off. It tells you the truth instead of giving inflated grades like many AI tools do. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

I’m in year 11 and LitMarker has greatly benefited me by providing useful suggestions and allowing me to have a greater understanding of the flaws of my work as well as what I have improved on. My favourite feature is the estimated mark where it gives me a specific mark I would receive. Overall it’s been really helpful and I recommend this website!

This helped so much with English. This is because you get an estimated grade, and then it tells you what you did better and how you can improve it. In addition, you can save the essays so for macbeth if your doing multiple questions saving them and coming back to review them is really helpful instead of just forgetting about it.

LitMarker has helped me tremendously due to its ai generated mark scheme and helpful feedback on how to improve. The most useful feature in my opinion is how it is programmed to highlight good parts of your essay and parts in need of improvement since it can hep you achieve a higher grade. Also it gives you a grade on your essay which is also very useful.
