FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Something we haven’t covered? hello@litmarker.io

Which Edexcel IGCSE English Literature papers does LitMarker cover?

Paper 1 (4ET1/01): unseen poetry, anthology poetry and modern prose. Paper 2 (4ET1/02): modern drama and literary heritage texts. That is all five exam sections of Pearson Edexcel International GCSE English Literature. LitMarker does not mark the Component 3 coursework (4ET1/03).

Are there IGCSE mock papers?

You can already practise every exam section: pick from over 200 questions or write your own, and get a grade and a mark for every assessment objective. You get a free mark every week. Full IGCSE mock papers are on the way.

How does LitMarker mark AO4 on the IGCSE?

On this qualification AO4 is context: how a text relates to the world it was written in. LitMarker marks it that way, and does not award marks for spelling, punctuation and grammar, because the specification does not assess them separately.

Is this the same as Edexcel GCSE English Literature?

No. This page is for the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE (4ET1), which has its own papers and set texts. The UK Edexcel GCSE (1ET0) is covered on the GCSE English Literature page, and LitMarker marks that too.
